Disha Trust

Disha Trust is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2012 with the purpose to build a democratic society through innovative programs experimenting with education, culture, and literature. At Disha, we believe that excellent education is the cornerstone of a democratic society. With this motivation, Disha Trust manages Umang Democratic School, an alternative education school in Ganaur, Haryana. Umang has been working since 2012 with students from the underprivileged section of the society. We have experimented and developed alternative ways of education focused on joyful learning in a democratic and equal environment.
