People at Umang

worked with a private school of Sonipat for 7 years. Joined Umang in September 2015. She believes that the new teaching methodology at Umang helped her to change her perception of life. She enjoys working at Umang. Along with carrying the administrative responsibilities at Umang, she teaches English to some groups. She likes conversation with kids and reading books. Inspired by Umang she is pursuing higher education too.

Postgraduate in Sanskrit and Hindi and did B.Ed. also. Worked as a volunteer at Umang for 4 months. During the internship period got inspired by the work culture of Umang and joined as a permanent teacher. She believes that Umang is an amazing school; where rather than cramming bookish things valuable out of box education is served. She is working on Hindi and Environment studies.

Associated with Umang from its initial days. Played a very important role in moving Umang towards an alternative system of education. Very often he visits Umang and contributes something new. He has a unique identity in theatre. Has been doing direction of various theatre groups. He writes songs and plays. Also adept at singing and playing musical instruments. His contribution to theatre and music education at Umang is commendable.
