Umang is located between Delhi and Panipat, on NH 1 (Delhi – Jammu Road). The precise location is Lalagarhi village, which is 1 km off this highway at Bari Village.

If you’re driving: 
  • Once on NH 1 from Delhi towards Panipat, there is a place (and bus-stop) named Murthal (famous for its dhabas). From Murthal 10 km after tollplaza Get off the highway at Bari Village and turn towards Lalagarhi Village. Lalagarhi is 3 km from Bari on Ganaur-Bari road. By Bus: 
  • Buses from Delhi: [Route: Delhi > Panipat > Ambala > Chandigarh]
    • There are buses (Non-AC, Deluxe & Ordinary) from New Delhi to Panipat in every 5 to 10 minutes. Bus journey takes 60 to 90 minutes.
    • They start from the Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT), Kashmiri Gate. The bus terminates at Ganaur, you can take an auto/e-rickshaw to the village of Lalagarhi which is 2 km from Ganaur.
By Train:
  • The most appropriate train station is Ganaur, Sonipat. Many trains arrive here from various parts of India. There are several local train from Delhi. Timetables and fares can be checked on www.indianrail.gov.in.

By Air:

  • Nearest Airport is IGI New Delhi.
